Deputy Head Teacher (Pastoral and DSL)
Simon joined FBS from Grey Coat Hospital, a Church of England school based in Westminster, where he worked for four years as Head of Year 10/11, playing a significant role in developing pastoral support to Key Stage 4 students. Prior to that Simon worked at Wymondham College in Norfolk for five years as Geography Teacher and Assistant Head of House in one of the boarding houses.
“I’m proud to be part of the FBS leadership team and help to develop an outstanding boys school that pupils and the local community can be truly proud of. I’m committed to ensuring that every boy in the school knows who to turn to when they need support, with the confidence that the school has the systems in place to help them. I have always placed enormous value on the role of extra-curricular activities in supplementing a rigorous academic curriculum, and fully support FBS’s ‘co-curricular’ approach to an extended day, that gives all pupils a broad range of experiences both in and out of the classroom.”
