SENCO
Before joining The Fulham Boys School, Ruth taught in a large comprehensive school in Cardiff as an English teacher. It was there she completed a Master’s in Education at Cardiff Metropolitan University, focusing her research on boys’ literacy and the use of technology in the classroom. Completing the NA SENCo qualification at Roehampton University in 2016, she is passionate about delivering outstanding special educational needs provision at The Fulham Boys School.
“I firmly believe that at the heart of an outstanding school is inclusion and equality for all pupils. With that in mind, I am excited to develop an Additional Learning Needs department that ensures that all boys, regardless of their ability or needs, can access the curriculum and reach their potential. I am committed to developing boys’ talents and strengths, whilst supporting them in areas they may struggle with.”
