Assistant Head of English
Mella studied Social Anthropology at the London School of Economics and English Literature at Queen Mary, University of London. Following this, she pursued her passion for writing as a freelance journalist, but after gaining a TEFL qualification and teaching English to students from all over the world, she discovered a true passion for teaching.
After completing her PGCE at the Institute of Education, placements at Chelsea Academy and Burntwood School, and working for two years at The Green School in Isleworth, she spent three years as the Head of KS3 English at King’s College School Madrid, Spain.
