Assistant Head of Science
Matthew began his career in a London accountancy firm but retrained as a teacher on the Teach First Leadership Development programme, where he received his PGCE qualification.
Matthew has worked in both comprehensive and private schools, and has taught through Key Stages 3-5. Matthew joined FBS from the John Wallis Academy, where he led the development of an alternative curriculum for students within specialist teaching and learning services. He holds a Bachelor of Science from Durham University and a Masters degree from the University of Cambridge. In his free time he is a keen sportsman, currently playing rugby in National League 2 South.
