Head of Brunel House, Teacher of PE
Josh studied BSC in Sports, Physical Education and Coaching Science at the University of Birmingham with an International Year Abroad at the University of Queensland, Australia. He completed his PGCE at St. Mary’s University, Twickenham and has elected to continue his studies further at King’s College London and will complete his MA in Education next year.
As teacher in charge of non-core sports, he has taken control of a variety of ‘non-traditional’ sports to ensure all boys are fitter and find a sport for life. Having taught swimming, played water polo and cycled competitively outside of school, he is extremely excited to continue to pursue these sports as the school progresses. Josh managed the Duke of Edinburgh Award scheme here at FBS for Bronze, Silver and Gold levels, until September 2022, and he continues to be involved in the expeditions at Gold level. Josh is also in charge of the PSHCE programme and curriculum for the school and he actively uses this as a vehicle to ensure all boys at FBS are prepared to be active citizens who contribute to the school and wider communities.
