Head of Biology and Professional Coordinating Mentor
Deborah studied Human Biology at King’s College, London before completing her PGCE in Science and Maths at Loughborough University. Recently she completed a Masters Degree in Teaching and Learning at Bath University. She has taught at both state and private schools as well as sixth form colleges and was head of GCSE year group.
She has spent time in South Africa doing AIDS education in schools. Recently she took a 10-year break from teaching to move with her family to South Africa and Kenya to work with university students to empower future leaders to transform society.
Deborah has a passion for science and for empowering every student to be a successful learner and achieve their goals.
