Chairs the Education Committee & is Vice Chair of Governors
Meriel’s background is in public affairs and communications. She worked for a wide mix of organisations, including blue chip companies and not-for-profit groups, before setting up her own consultancy 12 years ago. She has since advised clients on communications strategies, reputation and stakeholder relations, and produced several campaigning reports.
Meriel graduated from Oxford with a degree in Philosophy, Politics and Economics and has lived in Fulham ever since. She has three sons, and it was her frustration with the inequalities in local choices for boys at secondary level that drove her to join FBS’s founders in 2010. She has been actively involved ever since. Her youngest son graduated from FBS in July 2022.
She chairs the Education Committee and is vice chair of governors.
