In celebration of our move to our permanent home, The Fulham Boys School has held three ceremonies this academic year, each one marking one of the three pillars our school is built upon – Faith, Boys and Enterprise.
The third, and final of these events, our official opening ceremony, took place on Tuesday 29th March in celebration of our Enterprise pillar.
Founders, governors, teachers, parents and boys all enjoyed a fantastic evening which included performances by our boys and George Osborne (Chair of the British Museum and former Chancellor of the Exchequer) as our keynote speaker, spoke in recognition of the focus and importance the School places on all aspects of Enterprise. Supporters over the years, who were unable to be present on the night sent video messages; Michael Gove, Greg Hands, Stephen Cowan and Dan Walker.
Founding Governor, Sophia Wade cut the ribbon to officially open the new building which was a wonderful culmination to everyone’s determination, drive and dedication in establishing The Fulham Boys School.
Thanks too, to Friends of FBS and to Mike, the school chef and his team for the delicious drinks and canapes.
