It was also superb to have an array of boys and staff involved in a video to promote and celebrate the many languages that are spoken in Europe (as well as at The Fulham Boys School)! Well done to all involved!
Today was European Day of Languages. It was great to see the school getting involved in celebrating this day, where boys were involved in an array of activities. Heads of House also prepared an assembly for European Languages Day, which will continue for other houses this week.
Jake very kindly had photographs with all of our award winners. In between the presentations, we enjoyed excellent musical performances from our boys, plus a speech from former Head Boy Armand, during which he spoke about the school's Alumni. Thank you to all those in attendance!
Last night, our Annual Awards Evening took place. It was tremendous to celebrate the achievements of our boys! We were also very lucky to be joined by 1500m World Champion Jake Wightman, who spoke exceedingly well about his experiences in sport, interviewed by our own Mr Wilson!

Learning languages is so important. We teach 5 languages here at FBS and there are many others who speak their home languages. It should be celebrated and championed!
The video is great, give it a watch!
It is so important for young people to experience other cultures and learn to love the languages they are learning. 3 weeks into school and some of our boys are doing just that. #FBSinBarcelona @FulhamBoys_DOD
Looking forward to seeing this on @BBCTheOneShow. Enjoyed being part of the process.
Our boys trying Taco Bell with JOLLY. I loved the food in this one!

Our last ever Year 13 Politics lesson happened today; and finally Kaan was quiet! It’s been a privilege boys; good luck in the exams, you deserve to do well. Enjoy those books; I picked them carefully! We missed you Johnnie #teaching #emotional #leavers @FBS_SixthForm
A fabulous Y12 wellbeing afternoon at FBS today; one of the activities was a bit of baking and we kept it old school with fairy cakes and chocolate cookies! #sweettooth #WellbeingWednesday @FBS_SixthForm
Very proud of our year 11 history students who are sitting their final mock before the real exams in a few weeks time. They have prepared and so far they have not wasted a second… keep going boys! #practice @FBS__History

A great win for our U15s away against @UCSSport B team. A great innings from Freddie B and some superb bowling from Tom CN. Well done, gents 🏏
How awesome is this. Our first ever @FulhamBoys receiving his @DofE gold award at Buckingham Palace today. What an amazing achievement and we hope we be the first of many 🏅Congratulations, Paul! 🎉
After the sports performance centre, a current @UBSportExR student gave us a tour around campus, student accommodation and even had time to explore the city. Definitely some students keen on getting the grades for @unibirmingham in the future… 📚
