TRIP TO PARIS
It was early Sunday morning. Instead of sleeping, me and around 40 other Fulham Boys were on a coach, ecstatic and excited for our FBS In Paris trip. After driving for what felt like an eternity, we finally got to Dover, where we embarked across the Channel to get to France. When we got there, we were greeted by more driving.
However, this was unbelievably worth it! We got back to the hotel, had a well deserved night of sleep, and the next day went to Disneyland. This, I’m sure, is many of our highlight. In my group, we went on many fast, fun and exciting rides. The parks were incredible; there were so many different activities to do.
The next day, we woke up to go to the Château de Versailles. The palace was spectacular and massive, each artwork being unique and awe-inspiring. After this, we went to The Sacré Coeur basilica in Montmartre.
Despite having to walk up hundreds of stairs to get to the church, it was completely worth it. After we had conquered the hill (that seemed like Everest) We got to go out in groups around the shops where we were. We got to enjoy and admire Parisian culture.
The final activity of the day was a beautiful scenic boat tour down the river Seine. We stood out on the roof and waved at the people on the banks. The sights of Paris were alluring and individual. We got back to the hotel, ate and then watched the England game. (Sorry to any Colombians!)
The next and final day, we went to the Louvre, home to many different arts, including the Mona Lisa. It was incredible to see so much art and culture. After this, sadly, we had to leave. We had a nice journey back, and one of my favorite moments was playing cards with the teachers on the ferry. We got back late on Wednesday, and despite being tired,we went into school the next day.
The trip was so incredible and we all enjoyed it so much. Thankyou to all the teachers/staff who looked after us and Miss Konate for organising such a fun and exciting trip.
