PLRS Trip to Chelsea FC
A few months ago we did Premier reading stars. We learned about reading and football and it made reading more fun. Today we went to Chelsea Stadium and we had a tour of the stadium. In the tour we saw the pitch, the dressing room and the press room. I enjoyed it because I sat in the seats where the manager sits. After that we met Matt Oldfield who writes football books. He got us to write a profile of a player that we liked. I chose Cristiano Ronaldo and then we wrote a story about our first ever goal. After that we went upstairs and met Matt Brown who writes books about a sandwich time-machine. I bought one of his books and I enjoyed getting it signed. I’m looking forward to reading it! Thanks PLRS and National Literacy Trust.
