2015 Spring Fair

On Saturday 28th February Friends of The Fulham Boys School hosted their first Spring Fair. The weather held out and all the outdoor attractions were able to go ahead, including go-karting, football target cage, bottle hoopla and worm racing, alongside the BBQ and lively steel drum band. Activities continued indoors with scalextrics, rowing, face painting, cake decorating, and the cake, candy floss, chocbola and bric-a-brac stands.

It was great to see so many families, staff and friends at the fair, the school was really buzzing with energy! Headmaster Mr Ebenezer, helping out on the FFC target cage said “today shows the strength of our parent body, they are an impressive bunch and integral to the success of the school, fortunate to have them!” The fair was wrapped up with the raffle draw and announcement of the winner of ‘Guess the weight of the cake’ – a stunning cake made by an FBS mum for the headmaster, whose birthday was celebrated earlier in the week.

A big thank you to all the volunteers, for all the generous donations, and to everyone involved for making it such a successful and fun event! Additional thanks to Alexa Kidd-May for her wonderful photos of the day.
