Over the past two weeks, there has been a flurry of exciting Cricket fixtures involving teams from all year groups, competing against Latymer Upper, Emanuels, St. James, and St. Paul’s School. One fixture in particular stands out, the 1st XI’s victory over St. Paul’s, secured on the very last ball of the game. It was an extraordinary display of resilience from the boys, with outstanding bowling from Josh TP, and exceptional batting from the Bartlett brothers who contributed to a remarkable 108-run partnership and finally, the debut of Josh S from Y11 opening the batting . We also said goodbye to some Year 13’s who played their final match for FBS.
Furthermore, this week brought yet another great opportunity for our students. Eight boys were handpicked to serve as ball boys at the prestigious Giorgio Armani Tennis Classic event, held at the Hurlingham Club. They served as ball boys for Andy Murray and got to share the court with other legendary tennis players, which undoubtedly proved to be an unforgettable experience for them.
Finally, good luck to our U12, U13 and U14 teams playing cricket next week against the London Oratory school.
