At FBS, we are proud to offer an extensive range of co-curricular activities. These sessions are facilitated through our extended school day and are an integral part of FBS life. We believe boys should be given the opportunity to pursue their interests outside of the traditional curriculum.
This enables fair distribution as well as monitoring, control and scheduling. Parents are involved in this process and dialogue between boys, parents and the school is encouraged during club selection times.
Years 7-8; sessions and activities are revised each half term, giving boys the chance to find new passions and interests to help them develop into well-rounded young men.
Years 9-11; sessions and activities rotate up to 3 times per year. This gives an opportunity for them to deepen and enhance skills in line with our belief that boys should leave school with interests that they continue to develop.
Years 12-13 work on a range of enhanced co-curricular activities such as The Duke of Edinburgh Award and the Extended Project Qualification (EPQ).
