Admissions Process

The Fulham Boys School will admit up to 130 boys to Year 7 each September. Applications are administered through the pan-London coordinated admissions scheme.

After the allocation of children with an Educational Health and social Care plan, where The Fulham Boys School is named on the statement, the admission criteria will be applied in the following order of priority:

  1. Looked After and previously Looked After Children.
  2. Founders’ children.
  3. Children of staff.
  4. Sports aptitude – up to 8 places.

After the above, the remaining places will be split 50-50 between faith and open places, with three bands;

1) priority being given to siblings of current pupils at the school,

2) boys who are resident in the priority Admissions Zone

3) other boys.

If any band remains oversubscribed after application of the above criteria, places will be assigned by random allocation. The process will be conducted independently by computer programme.  Full details can be found in our Admissions Policy.

Admissions 2024/25

The Fulham Boys School consulted on its proposal to reduce its PAN from 130 to 120 between Friday 9th December to Friday 20th January 2023. Notice  of this consultation was sent to local primary schools, local secondary schools, LDBS, H&F etc], posted prominently on the school’s website and notified to all parents.

One response was received from The London Diocesan Board for Schools. This was supportive of the proposal.

Governors have thus determined to reduce the PAN to 120 for admissions in September 2024.

Please see the updated Admissions Policy for 24/25 here.

Sports Aptitude Admissions

For the 2024-25 admissions, up to eight boys will be admitted on the basis of their sporting aptitude. The Sports Aptitude Application form must be submitted by 1st October 2024.
