Khady Konate – MFL Teacher and Lead Practitioner

Khady graduated from Paris-Sorbonne University in France with a Bachelor’s degree in History followed by a Master’s degree specialised in both British and French history.  She moved to the UK and completed a PGCE in Languages at Goldsmiths University of London.  She has been teaching MFL (French and Spanish) at KS3 and KS4 at Brentside High School before joining The Fulham Boys School.

‘It was important to me to join a school with a clear ethos and where Languages are valued.  I am glad to be part of this exciting adventure and I feel that the MFL department is full of potential and resources.  Promoting the use of the target language, supporting co-curricular activities and encouraging pupils to become independent thinkers are crucial parts of my teaching‘.
