Emilie Sinot - Head of Modern Foreign Languages
Emilie graduated from the University of Burgundy in France with a degree in Anglo-American literature and civilisation. She then moved to Lincolnshire to be a Language Assistant in a secondary school and decided to complete her GTP with the CILT alongside other native speakers.
She relocated to London to work at Elliott School, now ARK Putney Academy. She worked there for 12 years, 6 of which as Head of Modern Languages. She has also been working with several educational publishers to develop French teaching resources, mainly for A level.
“ I am excited about taking on a new challenge within a school with such an ambition and ethos as FBS. I am looking forward to building a strong department where students will be able to develop a passion for languages that mirrors my own.”
We give students opportunities to be enterprising through taking risks, becoming daring, developing resilience, being team players, and building tenacity.
