James Freeman – History Teacher and Enterprise Assistant
James studied History of Art at the University of East Anglia, before doing a Master’s in Modern British History at the same university. After leaving university James began working in a school for boys with special educational needs. Whilst there James developed a love of education, and a desire to help boys of all needs and abilities to achieve academically and socially. James has a passion for education and History, with his favourite period being Victorian Britain. James wholeheartedly believes that “History, despite its wrenching pain, cannot be unlived, but if faced with courage, need not be lived again”, and this runs throughout his teaching.
We give students opportunities to be enterprising through taking risks, becoming daring, developing resilience, being team players, and building tenacity.
