Duncan Craig - Geography Teacher

Duncan graduated with a degree in Coastal Management from Southampton Solent University in 2009, before working for an environmental NGO in India and completing an MSc in South Asian Studies at the University of Edinburgh. During this period, he also acquired a good command of Hindi at Landour Language School and worked on an Asian Development Bank funded water resource management project in Nepal. In 2015, he returned to the UK to retrain as a teacher and, having completed his PGCE, taught in Year 6 in a multicultural primary school in Newham, where he developed a resilience-based programme to better prepare pupils with social and emotional needs for their transition to secondary school.

“I am delighted to join a school that is built upon the firm foundations of the Christian faith and which actively promotes an enterprising culture of risk-taking and boundary-pushing. This provides boys with the resilience that will enable them to grow into men that can prosper, not only academically, but in their careers and lives beyond and I look forward to supporting them on that journey”.
