Numan Khalid - Maths Teacher
Numan completed his first degree in Mechanical Engineering at King’s College London, before choosing to pursue a career in the City as a Business Analyst. After having worked in the corporate world for a number of years, Numan decided to opt for a more personal role, and decided to teach.
‘I had a successful and enjoyable career as a Business Analyst, but after reflection I was looking for something different and impactful I decided that education would enable me to use my skill set and help the next generation. Subsequently, I completed my PGCE in ‘Physics and Mathematics’ at UEL. I worked at various secondary schools in London before moving into teaching at a Further Education Sixth Form and College for two years. When the opportunity of joining The Fulham Boys School arose, I could see that it was just starting a new Sixth Form, and was eager to help set up the Mathematics A Level course. I intend to make a valued positive impact by helping the boys progress to where they could be to ultimately achieve their dreams’.
