
Alison Farrell – Head of Humanities
Alison graduated with a degree in Geography from the University of Newcastle-Upon-Tyne in 1993. Before embarking on her teaching career she worked in the Policy Department of Oxfam UK for 7 years. Since completing her PGCE in 2001, she has worked in two schools in west London. She comes to The Fulham Boys School with a wealth of experience in leading the development of geography provision at a large comprehensive academy in Hounslow. She has a track record of taking risks and grabbing opportunities for students which range from leading Habitat for Humanity builds in Mozambique to filming an educational documentary in India.
We give students opportunities to be enterprising through taking risks, becoming daring, developing resilience, being team players, and building tenacity.
